Resolute

New year, new blog title, new blog prompts! I plan to blog along with The Pagan Experience, which is kind of replacing The Pagan Blog Project. So it’s all familiar, but kind of shifted into something new. šŸ™‚

Week 1’s prompt: Resolutions- What are your intentions for this new year? How will you find the resolve to bring them into your manifest life?
————————————————————

Resolutions that pertain to this blog are these:

I intend… to actually keep blogging here, even after the first couple of weeks of January. This is likely to work, this time, because I’m not in school, and my schedule is actually going rather smoothly this year. I would love to write my heart out on spiritual things and leave a record for kith and kin. I would love my own personal, more informal space to play with concepts and words and spin them into gold.

I intend… to try out some things for my spiritual practice that have been on my mind for quite some time. I’ve been so busy dealing with my family life and personal life that I didn’t really have a practice, just an animistic orientation and a Pagan passion for life. I figured I was just more of a wild magic kind of person. As my life gets more orderly, I find I have urges toward a more orderly spirituality, too. There are mindful awarenesses I want to cultivate, and studies I’d love to undertake, and comforts and intrigues I wish to seek. I want to pay closer attention to spirit. I am happiest when I am doing so. It is my home.

I intend… to get to know more Pagans and find community. It can be tough where I live (a very conservative and homogeneous state) to connect with people. I want very much to come home to my tribe.

I will manifest these intentions the way magic is carried out. I gather energy from the wave of new beginnings and ride that into the new year with focus and will. I will breathe poetry into what exists, and make it sing.
